Frangipane is known by her stage name Halsey, which is an anagram of her first name Ashley made a name for herself in the pop music scene in early 2010, when she became a trend thanks to her covers and parody of Taylor Swift’s song I Knew You Were Trouble. She later released her debut EP Room 93 (2014), featuring the hits Ghost, Hurricane and Trouble; in the following years, the artist established herself as a strong figure on the scene with songs like Colors, New Americana, Castle, Now or Never, Bad at Love and Closer.
