Adam Richard Wiles, aka Calvin Harris, was born in Dumfries, Scotland on 17 January 1984. A musician, record producer and world-famous disc jockey, Calvin has always shown himself to be very private about his private life. Famous was, however, his love story, born from an artistic collaboration with the singer Rita Ora and ended, in a stormy way, in 2014. In 2011 Calvin Harris collaborated with Rihanna, writing and producing two music tracks: We found love and Where have you been. Both tracks reach the top of the U.S. charts. 2012 saw the release of the internationally acclaimed album 18 Months and was nominated for the 2014 Grammy Awards in the best dance/electronic album category. In the collection there’s the single Let’s Go, with the participation of Ne-Yo. In the same year Calvin began his collaboration with Florence and the Machine, for which the dj re-mixa Spectrum (Say My Name), and the following year Calvin released Under Control, in collaboration with the Italian/Swedish musician Alesso. The single Summer, released in 2014, manages to reach the first place in the charts around the world.Motion is his fourth album (2014). In the video of How Deep Is Your Love appears the American model Gigi Hadid.This is followed by collaborations, between 2016 and 2017, with various artists such as John Newman, Frank Ocean, the group Hip-Hop Migos, Dua Lipa, Young Thug, Ariana Grande and Pharrell Williams.Motion is his fourth album (2014).
