The group was born from the ashes of Kara’s Flowers, formed by companions of Brentwood High School in Los Angeles. After their debut album, The Fourth World, in 1997, the group changed its name to Maroon 5. In June 2002, with the release of a new album, Songs About Jane, the group undertook a series of tours with artists such as Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Nikka Costa and Phantom Planet. In March 2007 the album It Won’t Be Soon Before Long was released, preceded by the single Makes Me Wonder, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The other singles released were Wake Up Call, Won’t Go Home Without You and Goodnight Goodnight. The single If I Never See Your Face Again is republished in a new version with singer Rihanna as guest. On December 9, 2008, a collection of remixes, Call and Response: The Remix Album, was released. On September 21, 2010 the third album, Hands All Over, was released, preceded by the single Misery. The other singles extracted are Give a Little More, released on August 17 and Never Gonna Leave This Bed. On June 22nd 2011 the single Moves Like Jagger was released, with the collaboration of the singer Christina Aguilera.
