This is the biography of Sofia Carson he was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 10, 1993, to Jose F. Daccarett and Laura Char. Already at the age of three, she began taking dance lessons and for 17 years practiced jazz, hip hop, flamenco, modern, contemporary, and tap. In 2001, she participated in her first musical production playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the Rivera Theatre in Miami. And the following year she attended the University of Miami’s Musical Theatre Summer Intensive and in the summer of 2002 began teaching voice and dance, also participating in Florida theaters. In 2006 she began taking classical voice lessons. Carson also, in addition to graduating from St. Hugh School and graduating from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, began her studies at UCLA taking courses in French language communications.
Sofia Carson began her career in television by guest starring in an episode of the Austin & Ally series on the Disney Channel in 2014 and a few episodes of the MTV series Faking It – More Than Friends.
Her notoriety grew with the Disney television movie, Descendants, like Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, directed by Kenny Ortega, known for directing and choreographing the first 3 chapters of the High School Musical series, released on the channel of the same name on July 31, 2015.
On January 9, 2015, she was chosen to play the role of Lola Perez in Adventures in Babysitting, a 2016 Disney television movie, which began filming in the spring of 2015 joined by another Disney Channel star, Sabrina Carpenter. In March 2016 it was announced that Carson will play the role of Tessa Golding in the fourth installment of the series based on Cinderella titled A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits and in April of the same year, along with Sabrina Carpenter, she was one of the presenters at the Radio Disney Music Awards performing her debut single Love Is the Name.
In 2016, she participated in an episode of Soy Luna as a special guest. Sofia Carson returned to TV with the role of Evie in Descendants 2 and later lent her voice to the character Keemia in the Marvel animated series Spider Man whose episode was released on September 16, 2017, on DisneyXD.
On January 29, 2018, it was announced that she would be appearing in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.
The career as a singer for Carson began in 2012 as part of Broadcast Music Incorporated until September 1, 2015, when she signed her first record deal with Hollywood Records announcing that she was in the studio recording her debut album, Love Is the Name, releasing the single of the same name on April 10, 2016 (discussed by many, as it was called a “revised copy” of the song “Live Is Life” by the Austrian group Opus.
And I’m Gonna Love You on August 26 of the same year. In collaboration with J. Balvin, Carson released a remix of Love Is The Name and later released two more tracks, Back to Beautiful (in collaboration with Alan Walker and Stargate in two different versions) and Ins and Outs.On August 23, 2018, Sofia, along with R3hab, released her song Rumors. Also in 2018 Sofia collaborates with Alan Walker in the song Different World and with Galantis in the song San Francisco. In 2019 she collaborates with Grey in the single Gray Area. In 2020 she collaborates again with R3hab recording two new singles, I Luv U and Miss U More Than U Know. Also in 2020, he releases the solo singles Guess I’m A Liar and Hold on to Me, which is followed by Fool’s Gold in March 2021. In 2022 he released the single Loud, Carson has also created several songs for some of the films in which he participated, especially for the saga of Descendants: among others Rotten To The Core (also in solo version), Ways To Be Wicked.
